I have another Penny Black birthday card to share this time a female card, and here it is . . .
I wish to enter these challenges . . .
Allsorts Challenge #784 Flowers Galore or Anything Goes (1/3)
Creative Fingers Challenge #279 Always Anything Goes (3/3)
Penny Black Saturday Challenge PBSC Anything Goes optional Birthday
Time Out Challenge #265 IBW There are always flowers for those who want to see them. I was inspired to use a flower stamp (2/5, four other challenges)
Word Art Wednesday Challenge #651/652 Anything Goes (5/10)
I stamped a second generation ink background using a Tim Holtz stamp. I die cut a piece of watercolour card using a Sentimentally Yours die.
I used my Karin Brush Markers Pro to individually ink each colour on the stamp then to stamped it onto the die cut. Once I was happy with the stamped images I inked the rest of the die cut using Clarity stencil brushes and Distress ink.
Onto snippets of watercolour card I stamped the sentiment and created a stamped slim border strip. I inked all edges with another Distress ink pad and finished with lush Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops. Back soon x
Gorgeous and such lovely colours. I haven't used that technique for a long time. Must remember to give it a go soon as I do love the effect xx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful image and coloring. Glad you joined us at Time Out.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous vibrancy with the PB Magnolia Karen, many thanks for joining us at Allsorts challenge and following the floral option.
ReplyDeleteInteresting to read Karin markers will work on this technique, for years I've used Distress Markers but most are running low on ink now, so disappointed they discontinued them
