Fab n Funky Challenge #594 Embossing Wet or Dry
Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge  Feminine (5/5)

I created my own A4 coloured background.  I sprayed black card with water then added Tonic Studios Nuvo Shimmer Powders to the card.  I left it to thoroughly dry.  I cut the A4 card in half and scored it to create an A6 card.  I attached one of the Clarity Crafts KISS Ring of Stencils to the front of the card and tapped Versamark ink through.  Once covered I added Sweet Dixie clear ultrafine embossing powder and heated to melt.

Onto cream card I stamped the flowers and sentiment from the Lisa Horton Sending You Sunshine stamp set with Versafine Clair Pinecone ink.  I watercoloured the image and added Distress ink to the outer edges which I then sprayed with water.  Once dry I trimmed both panels to size then distressed the edges with my Tim Holtz distressing tool.  I adhered the stamped panels onto my card front and added Wild Orchid Crafts flowers and Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops to embellish.

Please do come over to the challenge and join us.  My Design Team members are seriously talented and very welcoming.  Just remember to make sure you have followed our rules.  Back soon x

Penny Black Saturday Challenge PBSC Anything Goes optional numbers
The Four Seasons Challenge Anything Goes Spring (1/3)

Word Art Wednesday Challenge #646 Anything Goes (4/5)

I created two background with a stamp from Tim Holtz Perspective set.  I used Versafine Clair Charming Pink ink onto an A5 piece of card, then again onto a 148mm square card to create a second generation stamped background, it's why my background is beautifully faded.  I then used Distress inks and a Clarity Crafts stencil to add tiny flowers on two sides of my card which made the numbers fade into the background even more.

I inked the flowers on Penny Black Flying Colours Stamp with Charming Pink, removing pink from the stems and leaves.  I thoroughly cleaned the stamp then just inked the stems and leaves with Karin Brush Markers Pro and stamped.  I used a Penny Black butterfly stamp with Karin Brush Markers Pro and stamped the butterfly in position.

I stamped the Penny Black sentiment onto a snippet.   I edged the stamped panel and the snippet with Distress inks and adhered onto my stamped card.  I added Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops to embellish.  Back soon x

Die Cut Diva's Challenge Monochromatic (1/4)

Fab n Funky Challenge #594 Embossing Wet or Dry
Word Art Wednesday Challenge #646 Anything Goes (3/5)

I started out with A5 watercolour card which I covered with watercolour paints.  Once dry I darkened the edges with more watercolour paint and then Distress inks.  Then I sprayed the card with water and left to dry overnight.

I used Tim Holtz Ledger Script to repeat stamp with Versamark ink and added Copper embossing powder and heated it.  I grabbed Clarity Crafts KISS Stencil's 1, repeated arches design, then applied Tonic Studios Nuvo Glimmer Paste and left to dry.

I adhered a Hunkydory Gold Foiled sentiment onto white card and die cut a Spellbinders Nestability label.  I stamped the John Next Door Pansy stamp onto white card then die cut the pansies with the matching die.  I used two Crafter's Companion dies to die cut foliage from different shades of green.

I adhered the foiled sentiment in place the positioned the ivy die cuts.  I shaped the pansies and adhered them together.  I placed them in position and added the other die cut leaves in place.  I finally added my favourite finishing touch of Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops.

I enjoyed creating this card so much and unusually for me actually like it.  I can't wait to play more with my John Next Door flower stamps and dies.  Back soon x
