I used new pieces of kit, a Clarity Crafts Groovi Starter and the Groovi Christmas tree kit.  I fell in love with the Christmas tree board when I saw it so I took the plunge.  They are not quick cards to create but I just adore the design,lol, so I had to have it!  I am not a Parchment crafter but now and then something reaches out to me.  I may dabble again if I see a design I love, time will tell. 

I'm off to watch the F1 race highlights now x

I had previously stamped but not coloured this image and as I had a little free time last night I watercoloured my image.  I used a stencil and Distress ink pad, my Clarity Crafts stencil brushes on the base of my card.  When the stamped panel was dry I stamped a Penny Black sentiment onto it.   I die cut a border from snippets.  I adhered the stamped panel onto my card the I adhered the lace border and used Nuvo Drops as my finishing touch.

AAA Birthday Challenge #51 Butterflies (-)

Try It On Tuesdays Challenge Use 3 Colours: I chose black, pink & white (-)

I stamped the butterfly multiple times using Memento IP then coloured them with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers.  I stamped the sentiment onto a Spellbinders die cut. I used watercolour card coloured with watercolours for the lower mat and then my final embellishment of Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops.

I'm back with a card that has a heavily stamped background.  I was playing with a new Distress ink, Clarity Crafts stencil and a barely used stamp set plus a new Tonic Studios Bouquets and Buttermilk set and here is the result . . .

As I mentioned above I mainly used Seedless Preserves Distress ink and pops of Picked Raspberry Oxide to stamp the background using Clarity Crafts Journal stamp set.  I used a snippet of Clarity Crafts stencilled background to mount the coloured die cuts onto. All of the die cuts were cut from my stash of snippets which I coloured prior to die cutting.  The flowers and stem die cuts were layered to create a bouquet in the milk milk churn vase. The butterflies were die cut from several coloured die cut snippets.  The Tonic Nuvo Drops I added as a final touch.

I can't wait to create more of these stamped backgrounds.  I love the finished result and I really enjoyed the process. Enjoy this week Karen x

Unusually for me I created a CAS card using only three colours of Spectrum Aqua on a white card to which I added a filed sentiment and three sequins to stop it from being too stark.

I used multiple Distress and Distress Oxide ink pads through stencils to create the landscape.  I sprinkled a several drops of water across the stencilled grasses and left to dry.  Once dry I overstamped with the Bird Tree and more silhouette bird stamps using Versafine Clair ink pads.  I stamped the poetry verse the sentiment in black Versafine Clair IP to finish.
