I used a white card snippet with this Penny Black Magnolia Rhapsody cling stamp, inked up in Fossilised Amber as well at Mowed Lawn Distress inks.  I used a Penny Black poppy stencil to ink up another piece of white card.

I attached a piece of textured paper onto an A5 card.  I stamped the Penny Black sentiment onto a white card snippet.  I used Evergreen Bough Distress ink on the edges of the two stamped panels as well as the stencilled panel.

Once I had figured out my layout I added a Wild Orchid Crafts daisy and leaf plus Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops to finish.  Back soon x

Try It On Tuesday Challenge Fantasy (-)
Word Art Wednesday Challenge #647 Anything Goes (3/5)

I created a 148mm square card using 300 gsm card.  I folded the top layer in half to create my easel front.  Using A5 card, Versafine Clair Cheerful ink and the numbers from Tim Holtz Perspective set I stamped a background with second generation ink.  I cut my background in two pieces, one for the main and one for the ledge.  I coloured white satin ribbon with Fossilised Amber ink, and edged all the stamped panel too.  I attached ribbon around the smaller background and adhered both backgrounds on the card.

I stamped the House Mouse image onto watercolour card and coloured it.  I coloured a large snippet of white card with Fossilised Amber Distress ink and trimmed a  piece from that for the stamped sentiment.  I used the larger snippet as a matt for my stamped and watercoloured panel.

I die cut Crafters Companion ivy die, and two of my John Next Door flower dies with Sizzix card stock and created layered flowers.  I added Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops to the flowers and sentiment.  I love the end result, I think the lemon and blue work well together.  Back soon x

Christmas 12 . . .

Cut It Up Challenge #303 Add a Sentiment (2/3)

Peace on Earth Christmas Challenge #63 Always Anything Goes Christmas(1/3)

Sparkles Christmas Challenge #160 Add a ribbon or twine: I added white ribbon to the ledge of my easel (1/3)

Word Art Wednesday Challenge #647 Anything Goes (2/5)

I had fun creating this Christmas card, the colours are not my usual choice for a Poinsettia.   I think that using a black card base, black die cut sentiment, softly coloured designer paper and mainly pale die cuts means that this fluorescent pink Poinsettia works.

I inked the Penny Black stamp with my Karin Brush Markers Pro and lightly sprayed with water before stamping.  I edged the Sentimentally Yours die cut with Picked Raspberry Distress ink.  I layered up John Next Door Poinsettias, used snippets of DP for the ledge around which I attached white satin ribbon.

Back soon, with some more bright Christmas cards lol!

Fab n Funky Challenge #594 Embossing Wet or Dry
Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge  Feminine (5/5)

I created my own A4 coloured background.  I sprayed black card with water then added Tonic Studios Nuvo Shimmer Powders to the card.  I left it to thoroughly dry.  I cut the A4 card in half and scored it to create an A6 card.  I attached one of the Clarity Crafts KISS Ring of Stencils to the front of the card and tapped Versamark ink through.  Once covered I added Sweet Dixie clear ultrafine embossing powder and heated to melt.

Onto cream card I stamped the flowers and sentiment from the Lisa Horton Sending You Sunshine stamp set with Versafine Clair Pinecone ink.  I watercoloured the image and added Distress ink to the outer edges which I then sprayed with water.  Once dry I trimmed both panels to size then distressed the edges with my Tim Holtz distressing tool.  I adhered the stamped panels onto my card front and added Wild Orchid Crafts flowers and Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops to embellish.

Please do come over to the challenge and join us.  My Design Team members are seriously talented and very welcoming.  Just remember to make sure you have followed our rules.  Back soon x

A lovely simple card that was relaxing and a joy to colour with watercolours.  I deliberately coloured the sponge of the cake in yellow and coloured the candle yellow too to fit in with the theme at House .Mouse and Friends Challenge.  I added a chunky crystal like paste to the red frosting to make it look like proper frosting.  Back soon x
