Word Art Wednesday Challenge #623/624 Anything Goes (1/5)

I used two different Versafine coloured ink pads and one Ink On 3 Black ink pad to stamp the scene and sentiment.  I then used Tonic Studios Shimmer Powder to paint the sun and watercolours for the rest of the scene.  I added some pearlescent medium to some parts of the water to make it sparkle like it would when the sun hits.  I couldn't wait to use this set once again and have a few more scenes to share soon.  Back soon x

I did not add a birthday sentiment to this card because I may want to use it as a thinking of you or thank you or a just a note card.  

I used a Clarity embedder to score around the C6 card and then I added masking tape before inking the scored ledge with Distress.  I stamped and heat embossed the Riley sentiment then stamped the Tim Holtz coffee images.  I lightly water coloured the coffee  images and finished with Tonic Studio Nuvo Drops.  Back soon x

Stencil Fun Challenge January I chose the optional theme of Birds (1/3)

It was my first time using one of these sets.  I started by die cutting the shape from watercolour card.  I used each of the separate stencils to add the different colours of Distress inks to the birds, flowers, leaves and vines.  Once coloured I used watercolour paints to colour the white background a deep blue.  Once it had dried I put in the embossing folder and ran it through my die cutter.  Using a Clarity stencil I create a background of blue flowers using only Distress inks.  I used a Penny Black stamp to stamp a greeting onto a scrap of card and added my usual final touch of Nuvo Drops.  Back soon x

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge  Let's Have Some Fun- this Mouse got a lot of fun eating some of my favourite cake (1/5)

I used a new die with watercolour card to cut the shaped rectangle.  I then stamped and watercoloured the image.  Once dried I added clear texture sparkly paste which has looks like chocolate frosting lol!  I used a piece of patterned paper on my card and finished with Nuvo Drops.  Back soon x

I have to admit I knew as soon as I saw this stamp set that I had to purchase it.  When I was a child my grandparents had budgies and I loved the colours and shades of their feathers.  Such lovely memories I have of these birds and my grandfather in particular.  Back soon x
