I created a background by stamping with Carved Pumpkin Distress ink and adding Clear Detail embossing powder.  I used an A6 harlequin stamp (Clarity).  I coloured the rest of the watercolour card with Tonic Studios Shimmer Powder.

Onto another piece of watercolour card I stamped the Simon Says Stamp Delicate Outline Flowers Stamp with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink.

Onto a watercolour snippet I stamped and heat embossed the Mini Words of Wisdom phrase (Clarity).  I coloured both panels with watercolours.  I used a very old Sizzix Cut and Emboss folder for the butterfly which again I watercoloured.  Back soon x

Allsorts Challenge #782 Anything Goes or a Blast From the Past: I used half a 305mm square page of Pion vintage design toppers, old patterned paper, a really old set of Crafters Compaion snowflake dies and my oldest Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops (1/3)

Creative Fingers Challenge #278 Always Anything Goes (3/3)

Die Cut Diva's Challenge Monochromatic (3/4)

Peace on Earth Christmas Challenge #64 Always Anything Goes optional Inspiration boa

Rudolph Days Challenge May Always Anything Goes Christmas
Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge  Lots of Texture (1/5)
Word Art Wednesday Challenge #649 Anything Goes (2/5)

This weekend I realised that I hadn't made any Christmas cards this month so I grabbed my Christmas Stash.  I think some of the background designer paper is from DCWV and the other I can't remember the Named because I don't have the cove page.  The toppers are definitely Pion  Design.  I used Sizzix card with Crafters Companion snowflake dies, the flowers and leaves are John Next dies, the sentiments are  Creative Expressions dies.  Back soon x

House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge HMFMC415 Anything Goes + optional add Flowers (-)

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge  Fur or Feathers (1/5)

Word Art Wednesday Challenge #649 Anything Goes (1/5)

This was a reasonably quick card to create.  Using watercolour card I die cut the large heart from a set of Sizzix dies.   I stamped the image with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink and coloured with watercolours.  I put that to one side to dry.

I embossed pink card using a Creative Expressions 3D embossing folder.   I found the vellum foiled sentiment in my stash, I adhered that to a snippet of white card.

I trimmed the embossed card so that there would be a small border and stuck the embossed card to my blank.  I attached the heart and sentiment with foam pads.   I added Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops to finish.   Back soon x

Fab n Funky Challenge #596 Square
Penny Black Saturday Challenge PBSC Anything Goes optional Pastels

I stamped the Penny Black Exhilaration images onto watercolour card using Green Oasis and Rain Forest Versafine Clair ink pads and ďie cut using a Clarity Crafts die.

I used a Crafters Companion three layers stencil and A5 watercolour card with Fossilised Amber and Evergreen Bough Distress inks to repeat stencil the butterflies and to create a background.  I trimmed to 140mm square and cut into two pieces, one 140mm square and the other 70mm x 140mm.  I inked all the edges.

I created a 148mm square easel card.  I coloured white satin ribbon with Fossilised Amber Distress ink.  I wrapped the ribbon around the bottom edge of the 70mm x 140mm stencilled card.  I attached the background and ledge to the card base.  I attached the stamped image onto the easel card.

I used John Next Door Chrysanthemum and Small Leaves dies to die cut lots ofchrysanthemums from Sizzix Textured card.  I die cut the small leaves from snippets of glitter card.  Once I had adhered the different sizes of chrysanthemums I adhered them to my ledge and finished with Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops.   Back soon x

House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge HMFMC415 Anything Goes + optional add Flowers (-)
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge  Use patterned paper (3/5)

I stamped the House Mouse image and sentiment with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink onto watercolour card.  I used watercolours to colour the image and put to one side to dry.

I trimmed the Clarity Crafts Designer Paper to slightly smaller than the 5" x 7" card and glued onto the white base.  I edged the stamped sentiment with Lumberjack Plaid Distress ink.

I used both glitter and pearlescent card to die cut the Sentimentally Yours flower dies.  I used Sizzix Textured card with John Next Door dies to cut the leaves.  I glued two sizes of the pearlescent die cut flowers together with a smaller glitter flower on top.

Once I figured out the layout I added the stamped panel and sentiment with foam pads.  I adhered the flowers and tiny leaves with Pinflair Glue Gel.  I added Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops to the centre of the flowers.  Back soon x

Allsorts Challenge #781 Anything Goes for their 15th Birthday Celebration (3/3)
Beautiful Blossoms Challenge Anything Floral Goes with optional moodboard #17 (2/6)

Penny Black Saturday Challenge PBSC Anything Goes optional Pastels
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge  Use patterned paper (2/5)
Sparkles Monthly Challenges #176 CAS  (1/3)

I used one of my older Penny Black stamps along with Distress inks and my Karin Brush Markers Pro to stamp the image.  Unusually I decided to leave the background plain white rather than adding clouds or plants because I wanted the Penny Black stamped images to be the stars.

Earlier last weekend I cut into a 305mm square Designer Paper and decided to try and use all of it up, no snippets left behind but I didn't have one large piece so I taped two pieces together and hid the join with satin ribbon.

I added my final finishing touch of Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops.   Back soon x

House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge HMFMC415 Anything Goes + optional add Flowers (-)
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge  Use patterned paper (1/5)
Triple B Challenge Anything Goes with Birds, Blooms &/ Butterflies (2/3)

I stamped the House Mouse image and the sentiment with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink onto watercolour card and snippet.   I coloured the image with my watercolours and left aside to dry.

I adhered Clarity Crafts Designer Paper onto a 5" x 7" card blank after cutting a 1/4" smaller so that I had a small white frame.

I used pearlescent card with John Next Door Pansy die and kept the scrap too.  Once die cut I placed the flower die cuts back into the scrap and stamped with Versafine Clair Fantasia ink.  Because I stamped onto pearlescent card I heat dried the ink.

I manipulated the Pansy die cuts to get the correct shape before adhering together.  Once dry I figured out the layout of my card and adhered everything in the right place.  I added Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops to the stamped image and to the centre of the pansies.

I already know that I am going to use these dies a lot.  The end result is gorgeous dimensional flowers.  I love the end result.  Back soon x

Allsorts Challenge #781 Anything Goes for their 15th Birthday Celebration (1/3)

Creative Fingers Challenge Always Anything Goes (1/3)

Word Art Wednesday Challenge #648 Anything Goes (3/5)

This time I decided to use vintage in age and style stamps, lol!  I had been stamping for a couple of years with wood mounted stamps before I purchased this set.  I think I have had these unmounted Non Sequitur ssta&mpsmps for about twenty years, they are the first set of unmounted stamps I purchased.   I love that I can still use them and because they were made with vulcanised rubber they still stamp just as well as they did when I first purchased them.

I  used A5 cream card as my base and randomly stamped the images all over using Versafine Clair Nocturne ink.  I stamped the vintage lady onto a snippet of watercolour card using the same ink.  I watercoloured all the stamped images and left to dry.  I trimmed my A5 stamped panel and then used my Tim Holtz Distressing Tool on all four sides.  I did the same to my stamped watercolour card lady.

I used my Clarity Crafts stencil brushes with Vintage Photo Distress ink to lightly colour any areas of cream or white card.  I added more ink to the distressed edges then sprayed with water to soften.   I coloured another snippet of plain cream card with Vintage Photo Distress ink, a shade or two darker to create a mat layer under the stamped lady.

I die cut flowers in red using a John Next Door die and layered them up. I twice die cut the Creative Expressions sentiment from white card and a snippet of red card and adhered them together and onto the base layer.  I added my Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops finishing touches.  Back soon x
