Birthday 66 . . .

I am back today with a male themed birthday card and here it is . . .

I wish to enter these challenges . . .

Allsorts Challenge #787 Make it Grow or Anything Goes (1/3)

Creative Fingers Challenge #281 Always Anything Goes (1/3)

Die Cut Diva's Challenge Your Favourite Die Cut Shapes: another nesting die creation and these stamps with matching dies create awesome male birthday cards  (3/4)

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge  Anything Goes (3/5)
Word Art Wednesday Challenge #653/654 Anything Goes (7/10)

I started by die cutting two large circles (15cm).  Onto one of them I stencilled using a Clarity Crafts stencil and stencil brushes with ink that was in the brush the last time I used it.

I die cut Tonic Studio Plantastic images from smooth white card, hanging onto the scrap.  I positioned the die cuts into the scrap then stamped the plants with the matching pots, the foliage and extra plant pots with Memento Tuxedo ink pad.  I coloured the stamped and die cuts with Spectrum Noir alcohol markers.

I cut lengths of card which I coloured to create the fake wooden shelves onto which I positioned the plants, adhering some with glue and others with foam pads.

Onto the other circle I adhered patterned paper from my stash.  I created an easel card mechanism and hid as much of that as possible.  I added a Happy Birthday die cut (left over from a kit) with foam pads to work as an anchor.  I glued the front onto the easel and added a few Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops to finish.   Back soon x

I wish to enter these challenges . . .

Beautiful Blossoms Challenge Anything Goes optional Moodboard (5/6)

Stamping Sensations Challenge Bright and Colourful Inspiration Board or Anything Goes: I opted for the inspiration Board (3/3)

Word Art Wednesday Challenge #653/654 Anything Goes (6/10)

I started with a piece of watercolour card that I coloured with pink watercolour paint to try to get as close as possible to the Stamping Sensations mood board.

Once dry I used Clarity Crafts Paisely to randomly repeat stamp a background using Picked Raspberry Distress ink.   I trimmed the background then added ink to the edges.

I die cut the Sentimentally Yours square then stamped the sentiment and the flourishes using Picked Raspberry Distress ink.   I lightly inked the edges too.

I die cut the John Next Daisies, coloured them with watercolour paint then once dried layered them together and shaped them.  I die cut two lots of John Next Door leaf dies from Sizzix Textured card.  I die cut the Tim Holtz lace from white card which I coloured with Picked Raspberry Distress ink.

Once I figured out the layout I adhered everything in position before adding Tonic Glitter Nuvo Drops to the centre of the flowers and not glittery Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops to the sentiment panel.  Back soon x

I am back with yet another female themed card and here it is . . .

I wish to enter these challenges . . .

Allsorts Challenge #786 Blooms, Bees & Butterflies or Anything Goes (2/3)

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge  Anything Goes (1/5)

I created an A5 card with the front folded back.  I used a Crafters Companion butterfly layering stencil with Kitsch Flamingo,  Picked Raspberry and Seedless Preserves Distress inks onto white card.  I trimmed the panel then used up the ink left on my stencil brushes on all four edges.

I stamped the Clarity Crafts butterfly stencil using either Distress or Versafine Clair and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.  I die cut John Next Door flowers and leaves with Sizzix Textured card.

I trimmed the butterfly panel and stamped Lavinia Stamps Bee and watercoloured.   I matted the butterfly panel onto a left over piece of stencilled card that was coloured with Distress inks.

I layered up the flowers and added little circles that I had previously quilled.  Once I figured out my layout I glued everything in position and finished with Tonic Studios Glitter Nuvo Drops.   Back soon x

Beautiful Blossoms Challenge Anything Goes optional Moodboard (4/6)

Creative Fingers Challenge #280 Always Anything Goes (3/3)
Stamping Sensations Challenge Bright and Colourful Inspiration Board or Anything Goes: I opted for the inspiration Board (2/3)

Word Art Wednesday Challenge #653/654 Anything Goes (4/10)

I used a Crafter's Companion layering stencil with Distress inks and Clarity Crafts stencil brushes to create the background.  I stamped the Simon Says Stamp image using Versafine Clair Nocturne ink twice and coloured with watercolours.

I stamped the Clarity Crafts sentiment onto a snippet of white card using Versafine Clair Charming Pink ink and coloured with watercolours.  Once dry
I added shadow to the stamped flower image using Faber Castell Polychromos pencils.

I fussy cut one of the stamped images leaving several blank areas, light green, uncut because I've learnt that this area falls of if I cut too close.  I fussy cut the flowers, the buds, and the leaves then shaped before adhering with silicon glue.

I figured out my layout before gluing everything in place and added Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops to finish.   Back soon x

I inked up the Penny Black Exhilaration stamp with Karin Brush Markers Pro and stamped onto watercolour card.   I used Carved Pumpkin Distress ink and Clarity stencil brushes to heavily ink the stamped panel.
I inked a snippet of watercolour card and another piece of watercolour card in the same colour once again heavily inking the edges.  I sprayed all three pieces of watercolour card with plain water and blotted, then left to completely dry.
I stamped the Penny Black sentiment with Versafine Clair Nocturne.   I adhered all pieces of watercolour card onto a 148 mm square card.  I added Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops to finish.  Back soon x

I die cut the sentiment from white card and coloured with watercolours.  I coloured an A6 piece of watercolour card with a green watercolour wash and left to dry.  Once dried I die cut the Sunflower leaves.  I die cut the Stitch Daisies from Sizzix textured card and glued three sizes together.
I glued a piece of dry embossed card to the back of my stamped watercolour card to hide the ink/paint on the back and to strengthen the stamped panel.  I finished with Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops.   Back soon x

I created a 148mm square twisted easel card.  I used a Presscut 3D embossing folder on pale pink and fuchsia pink card to dry emboss and adhered in place.

I stamped John Next Door Pansy stamp using Charming Pink Versafine Clair ink pad.  I then watercoloured the pansies.  Once completely dry I die cut the stamped and watercoloured card using Pansy die.  I also die cut a Clarity Crafts square die and several John Next Door leaves.

I shaped the Pansy petals then adhered them together.  I stamped and heat embossed the Sentimentally Yours birthday verse onto the die cut Clarity Crafts square die and then figured out the layout and embellished with Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops.  Back soon x

Triple B Challenge Inspiration board (1/3)

This A6 AALL and Create Nature's Angels stamp is the second stamp in the set that I used for my first card this month and I absolutely love it.  It is such a beautiful stamp set.

I wanted the stamp to be the star so I repeat stamped the image onto watercolour card using Versafine Clair Nocturne ink.   I die cut the Sentimentally Yours Label die from watercolour card and stamped the image with Versafine Clair ink.

I watercoloured the background and the die.  I trimmed the background panel adhered to my card base and attached a length of lace with my mini stapler.  I coloured several cream Wild Orchid Crafts flowers with watercolour paint.  I added the die cut label and the Wild Orchid Crafts flowers and some Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops to finish.   Back soon x

House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge HMFMC417 Anything Goes + optional Here Comes Summer (-)

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge  Bright & Cheerful (5/5)

I kept this second House Mouse card even quite simple because it is for a male birthday.

I stamped the image with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink onto watercolour card then coloured with watercolours.  I created an A6 card and added a Sizzix pearl card mat.

I die cut the sentiment from Sizzix Textured card.   I used Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops to create the Koi Carp food that the mice are feeding to the fish and to add a little more embellishment.  Back soon x

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge  Bright & Cheerful (4/5)

AAA Birthday Card Challenge #62 Cute (-)

I stamped the image with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink onto watercolour card and then watercoloured it.  I left it to dry then added shadow and deeper colour where required.  Once completely dry I added a clear glaze over the chocolate fudge sauce to make it look like a glass jar.

I dry embossed a Sizzix Textured card in deep blue and die cut the sentiment twice in a different shade of blue.  I drew faux stitching onto the stamped panel.  I then created a 148mm square card and adhered everything in position.

Because I require several male birthday cards there are no flowers and minimal embellishing on today's House Mouse masculine card.   I couldn't resist adding hand drawn stitching and tiny little Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops pearls, lol!  Back soon x

Quite a simple card to create, as it is supposed to be summer in the UK I decided to get my House Mouse fruit stamps out to play.  I do love summer berries!

I stamped the image with Versafine Clair Nocturne ink onto watercolour card and coloured with watercolours, adding darker shadows where required.  I added die cut tiny white flowers and Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops where required to lightly embellish.  Back soon x

Allsorts Challenge #784 Flowers Galore  or Anything Goes (3/3)

Penny Black Saturday Challenge PBSC Anything Goes optional Birthday

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge  Bright & Cheerful (2/5)

Time Out Challenge #265 IBW There are always flowers for those who want to see them.  I was inspired to use a flower stamp (4/5, four other challenges)

I used part of a background that I had stamped (Tim Holtz), heat embossed, ink splattered and added shimmering texture paste applied through a stencil (Claritys) for the background.  I adhered that to an A6 card.

On watercolour card I applied a light blue wash of watercolour paint.  I dried with my heat tool then inked up the Penny Black outline stamp using Karin Brush Markers Pro and then coloured the stamped images again with Karin Brush Markers Pro.   I dried the image and stamped the sentiment onto a snippet of watercolour card and trimmed the hollyhock panel and the sentiment.

I adhered the hollyhock panel onto my card with foam pads then glued the sentiment in the top right hand corner.  I added Tonic Studios Nuvo Glitter Drops to finish.  Back soon x
