The Dr Mouse and the toads are so very cute.   I was tempted to add a glaze to the toads but for my first use I decided to err on the cautious side.  I used more of my Sizzix textured card to cover the base of my card and to die cut a border.  Back soon x

I had a fun time trying to create a darker themed general love card.  This one could be used for anniversary, birthday, get well soon, love you and thank you.  I love the background too.  I am using my cutting dies and embossing folders so much more since hubby gifted me a Switch. I covered a 6" square piece of white card with a Clarity Mixed Impressions stamps and Distress ink, I rotated the stamp as I went around.  I stamped then watercoloured the budgerigars on the branch and one of the leaves in this stamp set.  I die cut the birds and the sentiment from textured card and added Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops to finish.  Back soon x

Stencil Fun Challenge optional Love/ Hearts which I didn't opt to use this time (2/3)

 

Once I lightly stencilled onto the card with Distress ink I went back over the card with Red Cadmium watercolour paint.  Once dry I filled in the white areas with Yellow Cadmium watercolour paint.  I then die cut the wreath, Holly leaves and poinsettia leaves from coloured card.  I die cut the poinsettia from white card and coloured it with the same watercolour paints.  

Recently I located a box full of old Craftwork Cards Candi embellishments and I decided to use some to simulate large holly berries on this card and to finish I used Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops to add smaller holly berries.  Back soon x

I have really enjoyed playing with this stamp set this month.  The budgerigar stamps are gorgeous and this is fast becoming one of my favourite sets.  Layers of dies were used to create the flowers and I added a quilled centre.  I actually created this in the same way as my budgerigar heads card.  Back soon x

I had fun creating this card lol!  

I die cut the two blue hearts from Sizzix blue textured card and stamped the budgie heads onto them.  I stamped the heads again onto white watercolour card and coloured the pretty boy and girl with watercolour paints.  I fussy cut the budgies and using glue gel adhered them onto the blue hearts.  I adhered a foiled sentiment onto white card.  I added a piece of patterned paper to an A5 card.  I adhered the sentiment and hearts onto the A5 card.  I adhered several tiny hearts that are waste from another die and Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops to finish.  Back soon x

Lots of lovely watercolour paint was added to the stamp and then stamped onto watercolour card which I had die cut prior to stamping.  I used several snippets of coloured card to create the butterflies as well as a large piece of patterned paper.  I added the Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops once all the watercolours were dry.  Back soon x

Stencil Fun Challenge optional Love/ Hearts (1/3)

I started out by stamping and heat embossing one of my Clarity Floral Mixed Impressions stamps onto a piece of white card which I then die cut with a Tonic Studios die.  

I die cut the heart and then the Tim Holtz elements.  I lightly inked the whole heart with Picked Raspberry Distress and attached the Tonic Studios stencil and added more Picked Raspberry through the stencil before adding texture glitter paste.  

I stamped the Tim Holtz elements with the matching stamps.  I added twine and my normal Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops to finish.  

I will be experimenting by creating more tags in the near future.  Back soon x

I die cut a white card heart and used snippets for the Tim Holtz die cut birds.  Then I dry embossed a piece of Sizzix Surfacez card using a 3D embossing folder.  I stamped all the images using different colours of Versafine ink and dried the inks.  I watercoloured the rest of the heart and once dry added Tonic Studios Nuvo Drops.   Simples and I am happy with the end result lol!  Back soon x

I decided to create a simple card because I wanted the stamped image to be the main focus or hero of the card and I think I managed that. Coloured paper, two die cuts and a little ink blending.  I am happy with the end result too.  Back soon x

Once again I haven't added a sentiment to this card so that it can be used for whatever occasion I want to use it for.  Lots of old stash was used on this including the rather shiny red paper which I ran through one of my embossing folders.  

It is a new stamp and I really enjoyed watercolouring it, such cutie pies they are.  Back soon x
